I am interested in organic form and what happens when you take something that is whole, and make it a part. I am fascinated by the intimacy of small scale bodies like seeds, pollen, cells, viruses, etc. and their ability to be visible yet anonymous. For me, the essence of forms like these rests in their multiplicity and metamorphism.
My work is in constant flux, and continually grows as the story of it emerges. The realization only comes with time and constantly experiencing shared space. As the narrative and process develops, so does my clarity of vision. |
